One of the college's oldest departments, the Department of History provides a variety of courses, including the History Discipline in B.A. (Multidisciplinary), Generic Elective (GE) courses, and Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC).

The department aims to inculcate the interdisciplinary and rational thinking abilities, giving a strong embodiment of academics and contemporary society.
